SKATERS

Calling all skaters interested in roller derby in Tacoma! The Dockyard Derby Dames are looking for women of all ages, sizes and skill levels to join our league. Please check our Events page for any upcoming bootcamp and tryout dates! When you come to tryouts, please bring completed registration forms, $10, and a picture of yourself. At tryouts, you will be given a WFTDA minimal skills test, so do your research to see what you will need to know. A great attitude a must!

Looking for drop in skating? For $5 each night, or $40 a month, you can drop on in and skate with the league. There are two potential skate nights per week! Reservations are required by email to dyddbruisers@gmail.com. Personal safety gear and insurance are required. All skaters interested in skating with the Dockyard Derby Dames are strongly encouraged to log volunteer hours for league consideration. REFEREES & NON-SKATING OFFICIALS 

We are always recruiting referees and non-skating officials (NSOs). No experience is required. All you need is a helmet, skates, zebra shirts and pads and we'll provide the training, whistle and timer. If you want to get involved without the gear, become an NSO and help us scorekeep, track penalties and keep stats.
