Shoe Drive

Hi all. I work in a rehabilitation facility, where patients work hard in therapy to recover from strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, etc. Many of these folks come from pretty far away and do not always have access to their personal items for their hospital stay. Right now, we are in need of shoes for patients to use/have while they're in therapy.

We are looking for donations of new or very gently used/clean tennis shoes and Diabetic Shoes. Adult shoe sizes, lace or Velcro closure, good tread with sturdy soles. Please no sandals or high heels. If you have any old sneakers you'd like to donate, I'd be happy to come to the armory and pick them up on any practice night. (I am consistently there on Mondays and Thursdays.)

Thank you for helping!
