In fact, Dakota thought, it was almost as if the lumberjack could not be killed. Amidst clouds of gunpowder and smoke, Dakota suddenly felt a pain like no other shooting through her being. To Dakota’s surprise, it wasn’t the massive logger’s axe that had pierced her skin, but a pair of razor sharp Bunion fangs.
