Dakota D. Stroya Dakota D. Stroya #701

Born to two of the most notorious gunslingers west of the Mississippi, Dakota was raised by a rowdy gang of outlaws and misfits. By the age of four, she had earned a reputation as one of the fastest gunfighters in the Wild West. And by six, Dakota had added several bank robberies, dozens of stagecoach raids, and two assassinations to her ever-growing list of offenses.

When Dakota was ten, she lost her parents in a shoot-out against a group of renegade gunmen. Overcome by sorrow and guilt, the orphaned outlaw filled her days with drinkin’, fightin’, and gamblin’ in every saloon she could find. Between shots of tequila and rounds of whiskey, Dakota gave herself over to feelings of vengeance and hatred. She was determined to get even for the death of her parents.

Dakota set out on a transcontinental shooting spree taking out everything and everyone that got in her way. She ransacked and destroyed entire towns as she made her way through Montana and Idaho. But, when Dakota reached the Pacific Northwest, she encountered one opponent that even she could not defeat…a 16-ton, tree-choppin’ lumberjack named Paula Bunion.

Dakota used every pistol in her extensive collection of pistols, but no matter how many shots she took, that darn Bunion would not go down. In fact, Dakota thought, it was almost as if the lumberjack could not be killed. Amidst clouds of gunpowder and smoke, Dakota suddenly felt a pain like no other shooting through her being. To Dakota’s surprise, it wasn’t the massive logger’s axe that had pierced her skin, but a pair of razor sharp Bunion fangs.

Now, being the smart readers that you are, you probably already know the rest of the story. Just as Dakota had suspected, Paula Bunion truly could not be killed. She was already dead, er, undead. She was part of a fierce band of vampire skaters, the Trampires, and now so was Dakota.
