Until now, no one knew why Judy left the Ice Capades. Here's the story of Judy Asa Punk. While in Berlin , she went on a sight seeing trip to Romania . She was fascinated by Vampires and wanted to see Bran Castle . While there, her life changed when she was bitten by a vampire. After returning to Berlin she could not stand even looking at the frilly gowns she once loved to skate in. She also noticed that the routines she knew by heart were becoming foreign to her. The thought of doing another double axel made her ill. Strange urges began to control Judy. She wanted to skate fast and turn left and knew Berlin had nothing more for her. She fled in the night to her hometown of Tacoma . She spent many nights wandering around, wishing she could skate again. Sure, there were ice skating rinks around, but Judy wanted something new. And then it hit her, roller derby. Her life would never be the same.
