Lucy, warrior woman of the dark ages, came upon a dilemma. Having slain all the evil warlords of Skandia, Cimmeria, Ragnarok and many other strange countries, Lucy was growing bored, not to mention her sword was now dull. One night while in a honey-mead and witchweed induced haze, Lucy had a vision of a time in the future where great female warriors vanquished powerful enemies in a humorous, athletic and slightly bawdy competition called Roller Derby – a bloodsport on wheels if you will. Lucy immediately engaged the services of a well known sorceress from Spanaland to transport her to this amazing time and since then she has given her life to the pursuit of smashing new age badasses – with a slight feminist twist of course, which is why she is known in this age as Lucy Braless. |
